Register to Vote
Each election cycle we have an important opportunity- and responsibility- to choose our leaders in government, from the local level all the way to the Washington, D.C. The last election energized Americans of both parties and we saw record voter turnouts across the country. We hope you will maintain this enthusiasm and make time to vote in the next election. With all the challenges facing our state and nation, it has never been more important to make your voice heard.
If you have relocate, change your party affiliation, change your name, or turn 18 between now and the next election, you must complete a new Kansas voter registration form to be eligible to vote. Registering to vote is simple and only takes a few moments.Your county clerk/county election office will be able to assist you with all your voting needs locally. For the first time ever, Kansans may now register to vote online. You must have a valid driver's license or an official nondriver's identification card in order to complete the process online. Visit the online voter registration website to get staretd.

Or you may simply print a Kansas voter registration form, complete the information and return it to your county election officer to complete a new registration.
You must be 18 years of age, a United States citizen and registered at least 14 days prior to an election in order to vote in Kansas.
