Congress for Kids
Provided by the Dierkson Center, Congress for Kids gives students access to interactive, fun-filled experiences designed to help students learn about the foundation of our federal government and how its actions affect everyone.

Homework Kansas
A service provided by the State Library, Homework Kansas provides free online tutoring for Kansas students between Kindergarten and 12th Grade, college introductory students, adult GED students, and other adult learners.

Kansas History Day
Sponsored by the Kansas Historical Society, History Day encourages students to study history and exercise their critical thinking skills. Thousands of Kansas students have participated in the local, state, and National History Day competitions.

Kansas Kaleidoscope
The Kansas Historical Society produces this magazine to help Kansas students improve their expository reading skills and at the same time gain a new understanding and appreciation for state history.

Kansas Kids
Provided by the Kansas Secretary of State, Kansas Kids provides useful information about the Sunflower State, including classroom aides and games.

Kansas Kids Can
Kansas Department of Health and Environment provides this free, online newsletter for kids.  The newsletter teaches children about the environment and suggests simple ways for kids to practice environmental stewardship.American Flag

An interactive site hosted by the United States Office of the House Clerk, this website helps young students learn about the federal government.

Kids Voting Kansas
A nonprofit organization dedicated to increase lifelong voter participation by educating Kansas elementary and secondary students in the voting process.  

Legislative Activities
The Kansas State Legislature provides several games and activities to help Kansas elementary students to learn more about the legislative process in Kansas.

Walk Kansas for Kids
Walk Kansas for Kids is a nine-week physical activity program. It is a healthy and fun way to develop a more active lifestyle. Youth are encouraged to get 60 minutes of physical activity five or more days a week.
